Ask Your Senators to Stop Vaccine Mandates

“The American people are livid about Biden’s vaccine mandate. At a time where our nation is already depressed with unconstitutional lockdowns, soaring inflation, and lawlessness at the border, Biden is forcing workers to get the vaccine or lose their jobs. We are all sick of these authoritarian policies.

Fortunately, we have an ally in the Senate. Doctor and Senator Robert Marshall (R-KS) continues to lead efforts to overturn Biden’s wishes. Recently, he drafted a very pointed letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) explaining the atrocities of the vaccine mandate. He ensured that he and the signatories will oppose all spending bills until the mandate is defunded. He has asked all Senators to join this letter. He stated within his letter:

The Constitution, which protects the people from the dangers inherent in the excessive accumulation of power in the hands of the few, neither authorizes nor tolerates this kind of abuse. It does, however, vest in Congress — the branch of the federal government most accountable to the people at the most regular intervals — the exclusive power to fund all federal endeavors. We intend to use that power here to make sure that this mandate never takes effect.

Fourteen Senators have already signed onto the letter, but more are needed to obtain a majority to oppose the vaccine mandate.

Call or email your Senators today to ask them to sign onto Sen. Marshall’s letter opposing the federal vaccine mandate.

Hawley At NatCon: Leftists Want Men To Stand Down, But We’re Standing Up Instead

Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley’s recently spoke at the National Conservatism conference, in Florida this year from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 where he outlined the critical role that men must play in flight the Left’s deconstruction of America.

“The deconstruction of America begins with and depends on the deconstruction of American men”— Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley.

This is the text of Missouri’s Sen. Josh Hawley’s speech on Oct. 31st “Good evening. It is a pleasure to be with you tonight. I had the honor to be at your inaugural conference two years ago. After that speech, the Left called me a racist, a fascist, and a Nazi. So when Yoram invited me to speak again this year, I thought: What’s to lose?

I spoke two years ago of the Left’s ambition to create a world beyond belonging—a world where community and shared culture—our culture—count for little. It’s part of the Left’s effort to fundamentally remake America.

I want to talk with you tonight about another aspect of that ambition. I want to talk with you about the Left’s attempt to give us a world beyond men….”

Ashcroft/Eigel Lead fight for 7-1 Congressional Map

Redistricting is well under way but some fights are expected to be hashed out during the upcoming legislative session.  Among those is the idea of a proposed 7-1 map that would attempt to give republicans control of 7 of Missouri’s 8 Congressional Districts.  This would leave St. Louis as a democratic strong-hold but make the Kansas City District more viable for the GOP by having several of the collar county districts take in the more urban areas.  Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft has spoken publicly in favor of the 7-1 Map and it was rumored that State Senator Bill Eigel also took the lead in defending that position at the recent Senate GOP Caucus.

"Just looking at my own position, I won statewide by 25 percentage points, which makes me say that it seems to me Missouri is a pretty Republican state. So in that regard, if we were 7-1, I think that would probably do a better job of actually representing who the people of Missouri are in Washington, D.C.," Ashcroft said speaking to the Rotary Breakfast Club in Jefferson City.

Burlison Receives Briggs Endorsement

Sen. Eric Burlison’s campaign was endorsed by Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs this week who called the senator a “conservative warrior.” Biggs chairs the House Freedom Caucus. Burlison is seeking to replace Billy Long in Congressional District 7.

Is Open Enrollment next for Missouri Public Schools?

Amid growing contention in Missouri schools — from mask mandates to critical race theory — a bill on deck for next session aims to increase choices for parents and students.  Rep. Brad Pollitt intends to file a bill that would allow public school students to transfer to any participating district — even if they do not reside there within the district. Schools would have the option of participating in the practice, and each participating district would establish the number of transfer students it would allow per year and develop its own waitlist policies.

10 states sue Biden admin over COVID vaccine requirement

A group of 10 states is taking the Biden administration to federal court over its new rule requiring health care workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, claiming the requirement violates the Constitution and federal law governing the agency rule-making process. Led by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson, the states argue that the vaccine requirement will compound shortages of health care workers, particularly in rural areas, and threatens the jobs of "millions" of health care workers who put their lives at risk in the initial days of the pandemic. "This case illustrates why the police power over compulsory vaccination has always been the province of — and still properly belongs to — the states," the states argued in their complaint filed with a federal district court in St. Louis. "Vaccination requirements are matters that depends on local factors and conditions. Whatever might make sense in New York City, St. Louis, or Omaha could be decidedly counterproductive and harmful in rural communities like Memphis, Missouri or McCook, Nebraska.""Federalism allows states to tailor such matters in the best interests of their communities. The heavy hand of [Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services'] nationwide mandate does not," they continued.
