Seven Months Until “Go Time” — An Update on Missouris 2022 Primary Races

Just after the New Year we will be 7 months from the day that will make all the difference in the way our state is governed for years to come….

At the end of Election Day it will be business as usual OR a new direction of reform that will lead our state to more freedom and prosperity.

Here’s an update on the 6 Open Seats that The 100 PAC is targeting in the upcoming election.

Senate 2: St. Charles County

This race is developing into a two man race. The latest news is that Rep. Justin Hill has decided not to run. This leaves Rep. Nick Schroer vs. Rep. John Wiemann. Schroer has been the conservative champion in the House. Both candidates have made a commitment to join the Conservative Caucus. Cash on hand remains close between the two candidates. We will continue to watch this one with a close eye.

Watch Rep. Nick Schroer’s presentation to The 100 here.

Senate 10: Warren & Lincoln County

The two announced candidates, Rep. Bryan Spencer and Rep. Randy Pietzman, have both been spotlights at our monthly Founder meetings. Both have committed to joining the Conservative Caucus. Rep. Spencer seems to be working the district hard. He has $140k COH. By all accounts Rep. Pietzman has made the decision to run but has not raised any money or shown much activity to this point.

Watch Rep. Bryan Spencer’s or Rep. Randy Pietzman’s presentations to The 100 here.

Senate 12: Great Northwest

Currently, Rep. J Eggleston is the only announced candidate. Rep. Eggleston presented to The 100 and has committed to joining the Conservative Caucus. He has $160k on hand.

Senate 22: Jefferson County

This primary race is stacking up to be a real barn burner. Rep. Mary Elizabeth Coleman has presented at one of our Founders meetings. With the exit of the current Speaker of the House, Rob Vescovo and Rep. Becky Ruth, the attraction of this seat has brought potential candidates out of the woodwork.

Rep. Dan Schaul has been in from the beginning. Now two other candidates are taking a hard look: countywide elected official Ken Waller and former State Rep. Jeff Roorda.

Roorda is switching from a lifelong Democrat to a Republican to run in this primary.

All of Mary Elizabeth’s opponents are moderates and will be seeking the support of labor. The 100 PAC has sent its first check to Colemans campaign. If you would like to make a separate contribution to her campaign, use this link.

Senate 26: Franklin County

This race has taken so many turns it is hard to keep it straight. But from the get go The 100 has been a big supporter of the work and activities of small businessman Ben Brown who presented to The 100 in early 2021.

Recently, Rep. Aaron Greishemier bowed out of the race. This move has attracted interest from a local businessman and former public school teacher, Bob Jones. Likely the pick of establishment republicans.

Also looking at the race are state Reps Nate Tate and John Simmons.

This county one of our top priorities and The 100 PAC has sent its first check to Brown’s campaign.  If you would like to make a separate contribution to his campaign, use this link.

Senate 20: Green County

This seat is an important hold for the Conservative Caucus — the seat is open because Rep. Eric Burlison is running for Congress.  Rep. Curtis Trent, is running against the only other announced candidate, businessman Mike Geilner. He will be the establishment pick.

Rep. Trent has been a leader in the House for the conservative cause, has presented to The 100’s Founder Members and has made a commitment to the Conservative Caucus.

The 100 PAC has sent its first check to Trent’s campaign. If you would like to make a separate contribution to his campaign, use this link.

Filing opens the end of February and closes the end of March. Much will happen between today and close of filing. The most crucial being re-districting! As we receive updates and details we will inform you!

Your continued commitment to The 100 PAC will make all the difference in these races. Thank you again for your help to complete this mission!
