Cancel Culture Makes its Way to Missouri: Defense of Liberty Conservative Gathering is Canceled by Vendor Chase Bank
Defense of Liberty Dinner Gains National Attention After Chase Bank Attempts to Cancel
From Senator Bill Eigel:
“Last month, former State Rep Paul and I announced Defense of Liberty IX to take place at St Charles Convention Center featuring Donald Trump Jr as the Keynote Speaker. You may remember the last Defense of Liberty Event we had in August featuring Candace Owens.
However, Chase Bank, the largest bank in America, who agreed to process and sell tickets for the event, instead decided to declare our group and efforts as that of a "racist/hate" group for inviting Donald J Trump Jr. and cancelled all avenues to the event by unilaterally stopping ticket sales.
This is outrageous and a defamation against every single Missourian that supports freedom in America and was looking forward to hosting Donald Trump Jr. here in St Charles.
The #cancelculture must be stopped in Missouri and the United States.
As for the event, the damage is done and we will not be able to host Donald Trump Jr on 3 December due to the interruptions caused by Chase.
The good news is that we will not be silenced!!! We are working on a new date with Team Trump to host him here in The Show Me state, so stay tuned!!!”

Ruth Being Appointed?
Becky Ruth was once seen as the moderate choice to replace Paul Wieland in the State Senate running against Conservative Representative Mary Elizabeth Coleman and Rep. Dan Shaul. Now it seems she might be appointed by Governor Parson to lead the office of Child Advocate. If so, many see this as a bump for Rep. Coleman clearing the “woman” lane if the moderates and labor unions do not rally around Shaul or another candidate yet to enter the race.
Schmitt Sues Missouri City over Traffic Ticket Quota
Attorney General Eric Schmitt has filed a lawsuit against Moscow Mills for allegedly violating state law by imposing a ticket quota on its officers. The lawsuit alleged Moscow Mills’ chief of police initiated the quota and instructed a traffic enforcement officer to issue 160 tickets per month while other officers were given a five-ticket minimum per month. The Missouri legislature recently passed legislation banning “taxation by citation”.
