Vaccine Segregation coming to Missouri Schools?
Governor Parson was quoted yesterday stating there “needs to be a division between the vaccinated and unvaccinated” in Missouri schools. Out of control government policies and shutdowns have already distracted and setback students for more than a year now. Rather than further divide society and coerce compliance, the Governor should be focused on education policies that will give parents choice in their children’s education and combat the expansion of divisive critical race theory throughout Missouri’s education system.

Schatz Censured!
President Pro Tem Dave Schatz was censured by his local republican central committee at their meeting this week. The committee passed a resolution reprimanding Schatz for going around the vote of the people to implement his gas tax and for holding up other pieces of conservative legislation until the tax passed. From a facebook post announcing the decision the central committee said “When a member of the Republican Party falls away from the party platform, fails to protect the Hancock Amendment, refuses to listen to the people of MO who voted against a gas tax THREE TIMES, and holds hostage conservative legislation for his own agenda, we must act. We must call him out. We must hold him accountable.” This is another great example of the grassroots organizations throughout our state organizing to hold their elected officials accountable. You can read the full resolution below.
RECAP: Curtman, Eigel, and Lembke showcase “CPAC of Missouri” at Defense of Liberty Event
Candace Owen’s recent appearance in Missouri to address more than 1,200 conservatives has been making big waves in state and national republican circles. Not a single US Senate candidate—or even current statewide office holder–has been able to harness that level of star power to date. But Curtman, Eigel and Lembke got it done by working through a national network of conservative thought leaders. Missed the event? Read a full analysis of the evening here.
While you were sleeping…
Recently the United States Senate passed Biden’s infrastructure bill with “bipartisan” support from 19 establishment republicans, led by Mitch McConnell. Tucked away in this 2,700 page bill was a $125 MILLION pilot program for a vehicle mileage tax. In short, the Federal government is spending $125 million to figure out how to tax you for every mile driven. Want to know what that means for your wallet? Read the breakdown from Forbes here.
Recall Sam Page
A citizen-led initiative to recall St. Louis County Executive Sam Page is underway. Citizen-activists have begun holding petition signature-gathering “pop-ups” throughout the county in an effort to put a recall on the ballot. The group arose in response to the continued efforts by Page to implement restrictions, shutdowns, and mandates in response to the Covid-19 virus. To even get a “recall” on the ballot will take thousands of signatures by St. Louis County voters. We will continue watching to see if they have the juice to make it happen.
